Mount Store Sleep Sack: Review

I’ve got camping on my mind and with a kiddo that means some planning and organisation.

We were lucky enough to be sent the amazing Mount Store sleep sack to try out and here’s what I thought…

Probably the most important thing to consider when camping with little ones is sleeping.
We co-sleep at home so he just hops in with me when camping too BUT, more than once that’s left me hanging half out of my sleeping bag in the cold and led to a pretty unpleasant sleep (for me!)

Mount Store have created this amazing sleep sack which I wish I would have come across sooner, it’s a game changer!

What I love about this bag;

  • The sack extends to accommodate growing toddlers with a zipper to give more foot freedom.
  • Removable arms help to regulate heat but by having arm holes, also keeps little ones at the top of the sack and not sliding down into it which we want to avoid! It also leaves hands free for late night snacks around the campfire.
  • Front of body zip makes it easy to get in and out and older toddlers can adjust it themselves too.
  • Rated to -5, perfect for spring time camping but also great for cooler summer nights too.
  • Prima loft filling is durable, cosy and is a great option for a sleeping bag filling. The filling stays puffy and stays put which means no cold patches!

I wish it came in a slightly bigger size to bridge the gap between toddler and child sleeping bags which seems to just be so big for younger ones!

I would definitely recommend this sleep sack to fellow parents, it makes the sleep set up so much easier and safer. Priced at £130 it’s definitely an investment but if you go or want to go camping frequently it’s totally worth it.
